Triometric helps ICC ensure success of IS strategy project

The client:

ICC Information, one of the UK’s foremost business information providers, is part of the international Bisnode AB group, with an annual turnover in excess of £2bn.

The contact:

The challenge:

ICC had invested in new infrastructure and ambitious next-generation Web services, dubbed the IS Strategy Project.

The Development and Operations Group planned rigorous testing of the network, systems and applications before and during the rollout. Willing needed a reliable, accurate measurement solution.

Looking beyond the rollout, Willing hoped to find technology to monitor ICC’s Web offerings in the long term.

The solution:

Triometric Enterprise Analyzer gave Mark Willing’s team the information they needed:

• Accurate data on errors, network, software and database response times, utilisation and packet loss.
• Site Scope’s hardware statistics, imported into the Analyzer database and correlated with Analyzer information.
• Jmeter test traffic, deployed by Analyzer in the stress testing phase to test the applications to ‘design limit.’
• Validation of the design criteria in the live environment for the production roll-out.
