ORACLE USER GROUP CONFERENCE SERIES - HYPERION & BI 2009

Twickenham Stadium - 24 & 25 June 2009

Oracle User Group members joined us for a live demonstration at the UKOUG Conference Series Hyperion & BI 2009 on 24 June 2009. Attendees learned how leading international paper and packaging group Mondi uses Triometric Analyzer to benchmark performance, troubleshoot configuration issues, monitor reliability and police the usage of Oracle HFM.

Triometric's Matthew Goulden demonstrated how Mondi uses Analyzer to answer questions like:

  • How did Hyperion application performance compare before and after migration?
  • Were performance anomalies due to the network or server infrastructure?
  • How can users be helped to use the application more effectively?
  • Are popular actions like calculate, consolidate or retrieve causing slow response times?

Triometric has presented to appreciative OUG audiences several times this year and we always enjoy the chance to meet our users face to face and win new customers.

The conference was a great success and brought together 300 members of the Hyperion and BI communities focussing on topics within the full Oracle EPM Suite over two days. Attendees benefitted from a choice of over 40 educational sessions, visiting and gathering information from 18 partners in the Exhibition and networking with peers during the breaks to ensure full value was gained and the event was thoroughly enjoyed.

This was the first independent two-day Conference representing the Hyperion community in the UK since the acquisition by Oracle. The event was dedicated entirely to the Hyperion & BI communities of the UK, with content covering the full Oracle EPM suite.
